Week 5! Although I wanted to post last night and right in the middle of writing this post, I had come down with one of those 24hr. flu viruses (still recovering). So here we go! Flickr set!
365 Project Recap
Drawing: 365 Daily Project Recap – Part 4
My schedule is getting crazy. I keep thinking that when I work on Sundays, it’s Wednesday or Thursday instead. Gallery on deviantArt.
Drawing: 365 Daily Project – Rule changes
Judging from this past month and a half, I’ve come to the conclusion that I have to change my rules for my daily drawing project.
Rules as they were:
- Set the timer for 30 min. and go for it!
- Themes are broken down to either drawing from a book, using imagination, still life, or even doodles.
- There will be days where a session will be skipped due to time, work, real life commitment. In that case, double up on the next day.
- Draw something. Anything. But not “half-assed.” Something decent.
- Theme: Try to stick to a weekly theme, but don’t feel obligated to stay in the theme.
- No skipping days. Otherwise it will confuse you.

23 sessions down, 342 to go! And I’ve shifted into a new topic, leaving bones behind (for now) and trying my hand at animals. This week: sea creatures…

Posting a recap a little later than I wanted, but at least I am keeping with the project, which is the most important part of the whole process. And of course, you can follow the posts which are regularly posted (every day/every other day depending on what it is) on my deviantArt: auseklis1984.deviantart.com
Here we go, week 2!

Drawing: 365 Daily Project Recap – Week 1
Different from the 365 Daily Photo Project, this project is centering around drawing for at least 30 min. a day (depending on what my part-time work schedule allows).
- Set the timer for 30 min. and go for it!
- Themes are broken down to either drawing from a book, using imagination, still life, or even doodles.
- There will be days where a session will be skipped due to time, work, real life commitment. In that case, double up on the next day.
